Additionally, the ‘Happy Card Scheme’ was introduced specifically for Antyodaya families that are below the poverty line. The recipients of this program will receive smart cards that will enable them to board state buses without a ticket. Only Haryana Roadways buses will accept this card, which entitles users to free annual travel up to 1000 km. This card can be used by family members to meet up with relatives in the cities, go to the doctor, or take part in any social work programs.
Big benefit at low cost – Smart card for just Rs 50
To ensure that no one in need is denied this card, the government has also made the price extremely low. The government would cover the whole cost of the card and its upkeep, with the beneficiary just needing to pay a small charge of Rs 50. This program’s goal is not only to provide free travel but also to slightly ease the lives of those who face daily financial difficulties.
What is the process of online application?
You can now apply online from home if you would want to benefit from this program as well. You can quickly apply by going to the Haryana Transport Department’s website and providing your registered mobile number and family ID. Your card will arrive at your home within a few days of completing the application, or you can pick it up from the closest transportation office.

This plan is more than simply a facility; it is a reflection of the government’s philosophy to include everyone in society, especially the most vulnerable members.
